Colin began his career in Los Angeles, where he was lead creative on several CLIO-award-winning advertising campaigns and Independent Lens Award winning television programs.
In 2006, Colin moved to Washington, D.C. to work as creative director and media strategist for Strother-Duffy-Strother, the oldest Democratic media firm in the country and the firm that launched the career of James Carville. Colin’s work for SDS earned him several Pollie and Reed awards.
In 2009, Colin left SDS and founded Revolution Media, a firm dedicated to providing ground-breaking creative and innovative media strategies for political campaigns, issue-oriented enterprises and corporations of all sizes throughout the world.
Shortly after founding Revolution Media, Colin earned a “Rising Star Award” from Campaigns and Elections magazine in 2010. Since opening, Colin and Revolution Media have won more than sixty Pollie and Reed Awards, Campaign of the Year in Colombia for Virgin Mobile, campaign of the year for Mayor of Knoxville, TN and Political Campaign of the Year in Colombia for Marta Lucia for President.
Colin’s political work includes races that have shifted political power around the country, and world including helping to elect the first female mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee.
His issue-oriented causes include natural resources and immigration reform, while his corporate clients include AT&T, Verizon and Sony. In addition to his domestic clients and campaigns, Colin has worked in Ukraine, Colombia, Guatemala, Afghanistan, Honduras and Great Britain.
